- Analyzes company spending patterns to identify potential cost savings opportunities across different categories within MedSpeed
- Monitors domestic market trends, supplier capabilities, and price fluctuations to identify new sourcing options and potential risks
- Assesses potential suppliers based on factors like quality, price, delivery time, reliability, and sustainability practices
- Develops strategies for contract negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing
- Manages supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions
- Tracks supplier performance metrics like delivery times, quality levels, and cost adherence
- Implements cost-saving initiatives through supplier consolidation, contract renegotiation, and value engineering
- Identifies and manages potential risks associated with sourcing, such as supply chain disruptions or geopolitical instability
- Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture
What you need to become a MedSpeed Supply Chain Strategic Analyst:Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or Finance
- 3-5 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Experience with business procurement lifecycles
Skill and Competency Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends and patterns
- Deep understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing strategies, RFQs, and contract management
- Ability to support contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms
- Awareness of market dynamics and industry trends related to the company's sourcing categories
- Effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Ability to manage complex sourcing projects from initiation to implementation
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including Excel and PowerPoint <
