Job Description
BryceTech is seeking an experienced Junior Program Manager-Scheduler to join our team and support our Federal Government Customer. The PM will provide support to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Professional Technical and Medical Staffing Support Services contract to provide logistics, management, analytic and procurement staffing support services.
The scope of this contract includes all tasks associated with providing support to the ASPR Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority’s (BARDA) mission to conduct R&D and AR&D efforts to provide medical countermeasures that address the public health medical consequences of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) events, pandemic influenza, and emerging infectious diseases.
- Provide direct administrative support to assigned BARDA Program Division(s).
- Provide assistance in developing and maintaining programmatic records and daily briefing materials.
- Provide basic analysis and information reports.
- Serve as the day-to-day management resource for assigned BARDA Program Division(s).
- Answer telephones, route calls, and take messages.
- Schedule and monitor the Director and staff’s calendars.
- Organize files and other written communications.
- Coordinate activities with direct reports and other staff.
- Take meeting notes and prepare correspondence for signature.
- Make travel arrangements and prepare travel vouchers.
- Coordinate special projects (examples of Special Projects are BARDA Industry Day and Tech Watch) and white papers, reports, and briefings.
- Edit and update documents such as white papers, reports, staffing/hiring, management directives and policy.
- Provide meeting notes/minutes, action items and schedules of activities for Front Office personnel and groups.
- Review and write executive correspondence and documents.
- Pick up and deliver mail to other parts of ASPR.
- Track/manage office supplies.
- Format documents, route, and track approvals.
- Be proficient with all MS Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5+ years’ experience in their specific area of expertise.
- Experience in the public health sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Suite including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
