POSITION SUMMARYThe Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute (WPRCI) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock is seeking a manager for a newly founded Cryo-EM Facility. This facility will be equipped with a 200kV Glacios TEM, Falcon 4i direct electron detector, Selectris X Energy Filter, and auxiliary instrumentation for single particle sample preparation including vitrification devices (e.g., Vitrobot and Leica GP2). The successful candidate will be responsible for daily operations, cryo-EM sample vitrification, data collection and on-the-fly processing, and interaction with and training of users. Users will be from UAMS and institutions in Arkansas and the surrounding states.
