Overview
Assist the Retail Store Manager as needed in the overall operation of the Tea Shop.

 

Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high speed manufacturing environment.

 

Shifts days will vary throughout the weekend and include holidays.

$18.00 per hour,  entry rate depending on experience.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer questions from customers with available product knowledge and demonstrate selling skills. Answer phone and handle phone shipping orders.
• Operate a computerized cash register with accuracy.
• Stocking, cleaning, and merchandising of the retail store.
• Communicate with management in regards to staff and customer issues.
• Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.
• Follow all Food Safety guidelines, but not limited to:
  * GMP's
  * Allergen Program
  * Quality
  * Sanitation
  * Safety
• Additional duties and various projects as needed.

Qualifications

• One to three years’ customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to create welcoming environment with a diversity of customers.
• Must be reliable and flexible, and available to work weekends, holidays.
• Excellent customer service, communication skills ability to create positive interactions.
• Ability to lift 40-60 lbs., ability to carry 20-40 lbs, ability to push/pull 60 lbs.
• Ability to be on feet throughout the day.
• Ability to meet attendance guidelines.
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with all contacts both internal/external.
