Job Description

Team:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to become a key member of the Cloud Platform group building Cloud Infrastructure Services and APIs to manage the full lifecycle of application and database code. 

We are looking for someone with an in depth and low-level understanding of Security Protocols, Centos/Redhat.  We also need someone with ability to work in US Regulated Markets.  Performance, reliability, scalability, and high availability are always at the core of our work.

• Top Secret Clearance
• Develop, build, and maintain a platform for large scale Enterprise Application with 10,000+ physical hosts
• Work in depth with low-level Security Protocols
• Review and triage vulnerability findings
• Debug and test vulnerabilities
• Troubleshoot difficult production issues, e.g. memory leaks, network problems, and various intermittent failures across the stack.
• Adept utilization of Linux command prompt for both administration and shell scripting

• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies and systems quickly
• Demonstrated success working independently and as a team to complete complex projects, on time
• Expert level understanding of Centos/RHEL OS and experience installing, maintaining, and designing services.
• Exceptional debugging, testing, and critical thinking & problem-solving skills
• Ability to deal with interruptions and adapt to changing priorities within the team.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working on low level OS components
• Experience working in a DevOps/SRE environment
• Experience working as a Security Analyst or Information Security Engineer
• Experience working in an internal customer focused environment
• Loves database technologies with experience developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing relational databases including Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgresSQL, as well as time series database technologies.
• Familiarity with Puppet, Jenkins, Vagrant, VirtualBox, and RubyMine are a plus
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies - OpenStack, AWS, or Azure are a plus
• Familiarity with using git to manage source code

Qualifications

• Ability to be adjudicated to work on US Regulated Market Environments
• Top Secret Clearance
• 6+ years of experience in coding efficient, object-oriented, modularized and quality software 
• Has experience building, and maintaining a platform for large scale Enterprise Application with 10,000+ physical hosts

Please Note:  This position will include supporting our US Federal customers.

This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test.
