Job Summary:
The Events Manager supports and executes Early Warning’s events program, helping deliver high-quality, impactful experiences that strengthen the company’s presence across the payments and financial ecosystem. This role manages the planning and execution of a range of events—from large industry conferences to smaller stakeholder roundtables and activations—working closely with internal and external partners to ensure seamless delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Plans and executes a portfolio of events, including large-scale industry forums, targeted roundtables, and stakeholder convenings, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with Early Warning’s goals, messaging, and brand standards.

  • Manages event logistics end-to-end, including timelines, budgets, vendor coordination, venue management, speaker logistics, and on-site execution.

  • Supports the implementation of the company’s event strategy by helping select events, define objectives, and apply established success metrics. Contributes ideas for improving and evolving event formats and experiences.

  • Partners closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Communications, Creative, Brand Governance and Legal to ensure cohesive messaging, positioning, and coordination across all event engagements.

  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders and external partners to support marketing and partnerships participation in key events, ensuring preparedness and a strong on-site presence.

  • Tracks and reports on event performance using defined KPIs, including attendance, engagement, feedback, and media impact. Helps synthesize post-event learnings and recommendations to improve future events.

  • Maintains event documentation, calendars, and process guidelines to support consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the events program

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree.

  • A minimum of 8 years or more of progressive direct/ related experience

  • Demonstrated prior marketing experience.

  • Ability to handle multiple complex projects, work independently, provide timely, clear follow-up communications, and meet tight deadlines for deliverables.

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills to interact proficiently with all levels of management, staff and vendors.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Highly engaged, self-starter with ability to balance achieving results and fostering collaboration.

  • Background and drug screen.

  • Typically aligns with a minimum of 5 or more years of marketing related experience.

  • Experience in events marketing

  • Experience with vendor management or procurement

Compensation
The base pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL / Washington, DC in USD per year is: $104,000 - $130,000.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
