Human Resources Generalist

SUMMARY

Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
Assists with recruiting efforts to fill vacant positions by sourcing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and providing the appropriate follow-up with candidates on a as needed basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• General knowledge of labor laws and Human Resources talent programs.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while promoting a high performance culture.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and employ strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Relentless commitment to flawless execution - attention to detail, communication, agility, self-starter.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage competing priorities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• HRCI certification (PHR or PHR) or SHRM certification (SHRM-CP) is a plus.
• 2-4 years Human Resources experience in either an administrative or generalist capacity.
