Job Title: Litigation Support Specialist
Clearance Required: U.S. Citizen, Public Trust
Work Location: Remote
Alpha Omega is searching for an experienced Litigation Support Specialist to join one of our long-term Federal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and analytical support to SEC litigation, investigations, and enforcement matters using modern eDiscovery and litigation support technologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain litigation databases within Recommend eD2 (legacy) and Casepoint eD3 platforms.
- Train attorneys, paralegals, and SEC staff on proper use of supported applications, tools, and systems.
- Assist with preparation of documents, exhibits, and materials for hearings, depositions, and trial.
- Translate user requirements into detailed processing specifications for data loading and production teams.
- Analyze electronic media to determine content, processing needs, and optimal workflows.
- Support development and documentation of eDiscovery workflows, processing procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain strict chain of custody for evidentiary documents and sensitive litigation materials.
- Review and audit inbound productions received by the SEC and validate outbound productions prior to external release.
- Act as a technical project manager, tracking, monitoring, and triaging case productions across SEC processing vendors (scanning, forensics, data processing, e‑productions, and systems administration).
Required Qualifications:
Experience/Skills:
- 7 years professional experience
- 3 years’ experience in paralegal or litigation support
- 3 years’ experience in information technology
- Sound understanding of eDiscovery practices and EDRM
- At minimum intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Relative experience with Snagit
- Ability to collaborate with project managers, program managers, relevant government POCs and proposal personnel.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks and possess strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in problem recognition and solving skills.
- Proficiency in interpersonal and written communications.
- Advanced analytics and analysis skills.
Desired Certifications:
- Certified eDiscovery Certification (CEDS)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Salary and Benefit Information:
The likely salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
