About the role

The Part Time Territory Manager (PTTM) will be a highly driven individual who oversees a specific territory, focused on increasing market share for our client partner, Verizon Value. The primary responsibility is to drive in-store sales through scheduled assisted sales activity within our key retail partner while also furthering sales through associate training, cultivation of brand advocates and light merchandising to ensure proper brand representation. 

Contract running - August 1 - December 31, 2025

Salary: $25/hr with Bonus Potential

Hrs. per week: 20-24 hr

Work shifts:  Fri, Sat, Sun (able to work between the hours of 10:30am-6:30pm)

  • Enthusiastically represent Verizon Value products at retail
  • Proactively engage customers and seek selling opportunities by quickly identifying and recommending the perfect sales solution for every customer by bringing Verizon Value products and services to the life in-store
  • Collaborate with front line personnel to offer solution-based recommendations from the Verizon Value portfolio to consumers and encourage and train front line associates to do the same.   
  • Provide in-depth Verizon Value training to associates
  • Build strong professional relationships with all in-store personnel
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Verizon Value products in-store
  • Develop a strong relationship with retail store leaders and personnel, including 3rd party associates assigned to stores, to maximize impact in your territory.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for both store associates and consumers during store visits.
  • Engage in one-on-one training and education with front line associates on selling Verizon Value brand devices utilizing provided resources.
  • Drive additional sales opportunities by identifying and securing additional merchandising space for placement of incremental Verizon Value branded displays
  • Gather and report back on retailer and competitive insights. 
  • Must be adaptable to last-minute client requests or program pivots (“fire drills”) that may require adjustments to daily schedules, store visits, or priorities. 
  • Admin responsibilities include but are not limited to daily visit reporting, weekly conference calls, email communications, and sharing of actionable intelligence and feedback to our management team
  • Meeting the physical requirements – listed below. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • High School or General Equivalency Exam.
  • 1-2 years of experience. 
  • Experience in operating in a dynamic and fast-paced sales environment; wireless experience is a plus but not required. 
  • Competitive and passionate about selling; Thrive in a sales-driven and results-oriented workplace where incentives are based on metrics / results.
  • In store retail sales experience with consumer technology products preferred
  • Comfortable conducting online research, troubleshooting, and navigating cloud-based systems
  • Proficient with email platforms and digital communication tools
  • Strong understanding of current consumer technology trends and products across various categories such as mobile and connected devices, with the ability to confidently discuss features, functionality, and value with a wide range of audiences
  • Available to work Friday through Sunday, 10am to 6:30pm local time. 
  • Must have a smartphone/Tablet device to complete daily recaps and reporting from the store
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance, and ability to travel between locations during the workday.
