Seasonal Program Coordinators play a role on the Youth Exchange Programs Team in the acquisition and design of programs for high school or university age students and adult mentors while serving in an office-based administrative position. These exchanges are based in the United States, select countries in the Middle East and North Africa, or virtual, and focus on civic education, community service, and youth leadership development. The Program Coordinator is a professional, seasonal position that requires excellent interpersonal skills, as well as design, monitoring and evaluation and social media skills. This position will support programs within World Learning's Youth Exchange Unit's Iraq and Algeria programs portfolio.


Responsibilities

Program Design and Management

  • Work across the Youth Exchange portfolio by supporting administrative needs across numerous exchanges simultaneously.
  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of program materials as
  • Support CANVAS management for programs from pre-program, during program and post-program activities.
  • Serve on participant selection committees to support Admissions processes as
    • Develop program flyers.
    • Support management of program email inboxes, as assigned.
  • Provide program pertinent information to Operations Team for travel and logistics management.
  • Manage the creation and implementation of monitoring and evaluation data collection and analysis using surveys and
    • Support Program Officers in the design and implementation of monthly project monitoring surveys and support.
  • Attend and fully engage in the delivery of Staff Training, including:
    • contributing to workshop design (prior to ST),
    • session facilitation and content delivery (during ST),
    • administration of Staff Training - sweeping people lagging behind to attend sessions on time, setting up classrooms, supply runs, as assigned.
  • Facilitate workshops on program, team retreats as needed or assigned.
