Distribution Specialist - 1st Shift - Waverly, NE

Job Details:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify any damaged cases and notify Lead
• Keep the area clean 
• Other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and be detail oriented
• Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures

Education and/or Experience:

• Production or warehouse experience preferred

Communication Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively throughout the department
• Ability to read product labels

Physical Requirements / Environment: 

• Stand/Walk: Continuously up to 8 hours
• Lift/Carry:  Frequently (up to 50 lbs.)
• Push/Pull: Frequently (5 to 15 lbs.)
• Bend/stoop/squat: Frequently
• Physical Environment: Continuously working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 40° F)

Rehire Consideration:

• Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments.
• 180 days (6 months) waiting period.
