Job Description:    

CACI is seeking a Server Lead to serve as the one to manage operations of USSTRATCOM’s server infrastructure and systems. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

Server Lead, Senior:  

• Manages and maintains Windows-based server environments to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure 

• Implements system updates, monitors server health, and provides technical support 

• Installs, configures, and maintains Windows Server operating systems, including features (e.g., Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS) 

• Performs regular updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure server stability and security 

• Enforces server security measures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access controls 

• Mitigates risks by applying security patches and monitoring for vulnerabilities 

• Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments 

• Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments 

• May supervise others

Qualifications: 

Required: 

• Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT server management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role 

• Required 8140 Cert within 6 months of start date: 451 - Advanced; FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training 

AND  

• Additional Cert: One or more: 

• Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator or Azure 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
