You Are:

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of large-scale federal IT projects for our client. Your role will involve ensuring alignment with client goals/projects and adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. This will require comprehensive planning, experience managing large scale IT projects, requirements documentation and analysis, coordination of engineering tasks, deliverable creation and management, project mobilization, communications, quality management and monitoring of metrics, and implementation of project activities, including resource allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring. To excel in this role, you will need to have a strong technical knowledge, understanding software development, infrastructure, networks, relevant technologies to effectively communicate with technical teams and make informed decisions. Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, along with knowledge of tools like MS Project will be essential. Additionally, your ability to identify potential issues early, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track will be crucial. Furthermore, your skills in budgeting and resource management, stakeholder communication, problem-solving, leadership and team management, time management, change management, and vendor and contract management will all play a key role in your success as an IT Project Manager. Your ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure deliverables stay on schedule without compromising quality will be essential in this dynamic and challenging role.

Here's What You Need:

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a technical field or 4 years of additional experience.
• 8 years of project management experience in a federal contracting environment
• Experience in Agile methodologies and infrastructure engineering projects
• Experience with Jira and/or ServiceNow

Bonus Points If You Have:

• PMP certification
• Agile certification

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret clearance is required

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
