Job Description

We are seeking a skilled API Specialist with a background in providing support across API and Applications. This role will require an understanding to break down technical issues within applications and interfaces between applications, be able to evaluate current and new applications and develop scalable architectures to support applications and any interfaces between applications while acting as a Project Manager with waterfall or agile lifecycles.

This position is onsite in Lake County 3 days a week. 

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. 

• Serve as technical expert or lead projects/programs and technical staff to develop, test and implement significant new products, or operational improvements or devise new approaches to problems at the division/business unit. 

• Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, providing technical solutions to resolve challenges with software, hardware, or system functionality.

• Proactively monitor and suggest improvements to applications, tools, and processes to enhance lab efficiency, data accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, ISO). 

• Develop and maintain documentation for applications, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 6 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years’ experience; PhD with 0 years’ experience.
