Accounts Payable Specialist (St. Raphael Roofing)

Apple Roofing and St. Raphael Roofing have merged and are excited to announce that we are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Fort Myers, FL location! The chosen candidate will be responsible for inventory, job costing, and other accounting duties. We are looking for a candidate with commitment to excellence and integrity by performing all tasks with the utmost accuracy and efficiency, also demonstrating a strong work ethic. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Process accounts payable invoices in Business Central (ERP). 

• Reconcile supplier invoice pricing with approved price list.  

• Prepare daily material work orders for job costing.  

• Handle fleet management, verification and reconciliation of monthly fuel charges. Monitor inventory transactions, update general ledger as required, perform inventory audits and assessments, and produce regular inventory reports. 

• Develop or enhance all inventory process controls. 

• Handle cycle counts and full count inventories, coordinating all physical inventory activities.  

• Collaborate with Operations and Finance to implement and foster a strong inventory control environment.  

• Assist with month-end close tasks. 

• Other tasks and special projects, as needed. 

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration 

• Must be well organized, accurate, with impressive analytical and record-keeping abilities, and able to articulate business information; meet deadlines and prioritize tasks; work efficiently with minimal supervision  

• Able to use a computer and other office technology 

• Familiar with data entry systems 

• Great written and verbal communication skills 

• Experience with job costing in an ERP (Business Central experience, a plus) 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications 

• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify) 

• Must pass a background check
