Quality Engineer

Join DP World as a Quality Engineer, based in Waalwijk, and ensure the seamless flow of high-quality products and materials throughout the supply chain network. Your responsibilities revolve around maintaining and improving product quality, optimizing processes, and fostering collaboration among internal and external stakeholders. 

How you will contribute 

• Ensuring Customer Quality Requirements: Consistently meet and exceed customer quality standards by actively assessing, implementing, and improving quality control measures, fostering satisfaction, loyalty, and prompt issue resolution.
• Supporting Internal Customers in Continuous Improvement Processes: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvement actions, while nurturing a culture of quality excellence through training and guidance.
• Ensuring Quality Team Skill Sets Evolve in Line with Customer Expectations: Regularly assess and enhance the quality team's skills through tailored training and development programs aligned with customer expectations and industry standards, while staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in quality management.
• Supporting Company Objectives in Meeting Operational P&L: Drive cost-saving initiatives, efficiency improvements, and product quality enhancements through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven insights, contributing to strategic planning and positively impacting the company's bottom line.

Your Key Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Logistics preferred.
• 3+ years' of related experience in Quality Function within logistics/manufacturing essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office essential.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 required. Konledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S methodologies advantageous. Data collection expertise crucial. Certified Quality Engineer preferred.
• Proficiency in Data Collection Methodology crucial.
• Compliance with International Standards highly desirable.
• Leadership and Project Management experience preferred.
• Fluent in both English and Dutch.
