Sr AWS Cloud Engineer (Active Secret Clearance Required)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Secret clearance
• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Experience in automation & configuration management using Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Shell, or Batch.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Deep understanding of Linux internals and core system services (DNS, SMTP, Syslog, IPTables, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Git, version control workflows, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as Golang, C#, Java, or C++.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in hybrid cloud environments.
• Excellent nt verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred but not required:

• Experience working with federal agencies or government cloud projects.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
• Experience managing cloud-based DevOps infrastructure and supporting federal agencies.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking, security, and storage integrations.
• Ability to support enterprise cloud migrations and optimize cloud environments for cost, security, and performance.

Clearance Requirements:

• Secret with the ability to obtain a Top Secret

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $126,000.00 to $162,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
