About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in Oracle Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Oracle 19c. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing enterprise-level database systems, leveraging advanced database technologies, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will be responsible for database architecture, deployment, and support, with a strong focus on maintaining business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize databases on the Oracle Exadata platform, including Sparse Clones and Exacc Platform.
  • Administer Oracle Autonomous Databases (ADB) to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain Oracle RAC and DataGuard for disaster recovery and replication.
  • Design and execute backup and recovery strategies to safeguard business-critical data.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement database-related solutions and enhancements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Optionally support MySQL and Cassandra databases to enhance operational capabilities.

Must-Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle database administration.
  • Expertise with Oracle Exadata, including Sparse Clones/Snapshots and Exacc platform management.
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle 19c, Oracle RAC, and DataGuard.
  • Proven experience in backup and recovery of enterprise-level database systems.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex database environments.

Nice-to-Have:
  • Working knowledge of MySQL and Cassandra databases.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of database security protocols and performance tuning best practices.
