Job Purpose
Provides and supervises outpatient therapy services by delivering direct clinical services, overseeing treatment plans, ensuring compliance with state licensing and Medicaid assistance regulations, evaluating program effectiveness, and implementing program improvements.
Essential Functions
- Provides therapeutic services to clients, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups
- Maintains clinical record-keeping and ensures documentation aligns with state licensing requirements and insurance authorizations
- Provides supervision and mentorship to unlicensed or fully licensed therapists
- Engages in community consultation and collaboration with schools, healthcare providers, case managers, and family members
- Supports program development and quality improvement by implementing training, data evaluation, and best practice standards
Job Responsibilities
- Clinical Supervision & Staff Development
- Provides clinical supervision and support to assigned therapists, ensuring high-quality care and professional development
- Oversees staff training in outpatient mental health practices, including DHS 35 compliance and continuing education requirements
- Conducts case consultations and reviews to provide guidance on treatment approaches
- Therapeutic Services & Client Engagement
- Completes psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning for clients
- Provides individual, group, and family therapy to a diverse client population
- Makes appropriate referrals for additional services when necessary
- Compliance & Documentation
- Maintains thorough and accurate client records in accordance with state licensing, Medicaid, and Rawhide policies
- Completes insurance authorization paperwork and ensures timely approvals for services
- Community Outreach & Program Growth
- Builds relationships with schools, healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations to promote Rawhide’s services
- Conducts educational workshops, training sessions, and networking events to expand outreach
- Assists in developing new therapeutic programs and client services
- Maintain Professional and Technical Knowledge
- Completing required trainings

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Fully licensed LPC, LMFT, or LCSW for a minimum of 2 years
- Clinical supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in diagnosing and treating a wide array of mental health issues
- Ability to provide quality individual, group, and/or family therapy
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
