Job Summary:

The Senior Facilities Manager provides strategic leadership and organizational direction for Toshiba. This role ensures that all buildings, infrastructure, and critical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives. The Senior Facilities Manager drives long‑term planning, leads multidisciplinary teams, and oversees facility operations that support workforce needs and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Operational Leadership

  • Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of all facility installations, upgrades, refurbishments, and major maintenance initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor contractor and operational policies and standards to meet all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct cross‑functional coordination to align facilities operations with organizational priorities.

Team Leadership & Workforce Development

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing facilities and maintenance team, including workforce planning, scheduling, performance management, and skill development.
  • Provide oversight of third‑party service providers to ensure high service quality and compliance with contractual expectations.

Financial Management & Budget Oversight

  • Oversee all capital and operational budgets related to facility projects, lifecycle management, and ongoing maintenance for plant and administrative environments.
  • Conduct financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for senior leadership and Finance teams.
  • Identify and implement cost‑optimization strategies, including energy and utility reduction initiatives.

Facilities Assessment & Infrastructure Management

  • Direct comprehensive facilities assessments to determine structural integrity, system performance, and long‑term investment requirements.
  • Lead planning and execution of renovations, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements while ensuring all facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Vendor, Contract, & Stakeholder Management

  • Negotiate contracts and manage service-level agreements with vendors, contractors, and service partners.
  • Oversee invoice approval, procurement processes, and vendor performance evaluations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal departments regarding facility needs and strategic alignment.

Space Planning & Organizational Support

  • Oversee office space allocation, workplace planning, and resource distribution in response to workforce changes and organizational restructuring.
  • Ensure facilities support evolving departmental requirements and long‑term business plans.

Reporting, Forecasting & Strategic Analysis

  • Prepare executive‑level reports, operational dashboards, and budgets for Finance and Corporate Facilities groups.
  • Conduct long‑range forecasting to anticipate future facility and infrastructure needs.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership regarding facility investments, risk mitigation, and operational improvements.
