SAP Transportation Management Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP TM solutions for our clients. Your deep expertise in SAP TM, coupled with your exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, will be essential in delivering innovative and efficient transportation management solutions.
Location: Remote - US
*Full-time position - W2 contract*

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their transportation management requirements and business processes, translating them into effective SAP TM solutions.
• Lead the design and architecture of SAP TM solutions, considering scalability, performance, integration, and user experience.
• Provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders on best practices, industry trends, and innovative approaches in the field of transportation management.
• Define solution blueprints, system configurations, and functional specifications based on client needs and industry standards.
• Work closely with technical teams to ensure the successful integration of SAP TM with other enterprise systems, such as ERP, Warehouse Management, and Order Management systems.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to demonstrate the value and capabilities of SAP TM solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with project managers to create project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for SAP TM implementations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the SAP TM landscape and evaluate how emerging technologies can enhance transportation management processes.
• Provide expert guidance in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to SAP TM implementations.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal creation, and client consultations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions.
• Proven track record of successfully architecting, implementing, and optimizing SAP TM solutions for diverse clients and industries.
• In-depth understanding of transportation management processes, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of SAP TM modules, configurations, and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
• SAP TM certification(s) preferred.
