About the role

<p>As EMEA+ Workplace Experience &amp; Real Estate Manager you will be the face of Workplace Operations, Real Estate, Business Continuity and Financial Planning for EMEA+. You will develop and lead the region's Workplace strategy for the EMEA+ Riot footprint. You will design activities that foster a riotous workspace and create an environment where our Rioters will thrive. You will lead the Workplace Experience team and all office and real estate operations across all 12 EMEA+ sites, reporting through Enterprise. This will be a 14 Month Contract and you will be based in the Dublin office reporting into the VP of Enterprise.</p> <h2>Responsibilities:</h2> <ul> <li> <p>You will directly shape the strategy for EMEA+ Workplace Experience through initiative leadership and drive the operational strategy within your org</p> </li> <li> <p>You will own and be accountable for the current and expanding EMEA+ real estate portfolio of 12 offices across 4 timezones in the region</p> </li> <li> <p>You will lead the team of WE Partners across EMEA+ and be a strategic partner to the Pillar Leads, Country Leads and Global WE Leads to align on global standards, collaborate on OKR’s and SPF planning for Workplace Experience</p> </li> <li> <p>You will develop and lead our WE EMEA+ strategy and long-term office space planning to support ambitious Rioter growth targets by site in keeping with Riot’s long term vision</p> </li> <li> <p>You will ensure Riot’s real estate design standards and workplace experience standards have D&amp;I at the forefront of every decision made</p> </li> <li> <p>You will own all Real Estate operations including portfolio management, site selection, lease negotiation, design, construction and occupancy planning</p> </li> <li> <p>You will evaluate evolving WE trends to adopt industry best practices and innovate ways to continue enhancing Rioter experience and engagement</p> </li> <li> <p>You will own the business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analysis, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures</p> </li> <li> <p>You will own and manage the budgeting and forecasting for existing and future footprints</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>You will partner with the EMEA+ IT Manager, EMEA+ People and EMEA+ Legal to develop and implement strategy relating to WE and ensure all locations are upholding established best practices </p> </li> <li> <p>You will partner with EMEA+ Finance to create, maintain, and project WE budgets and forecasts for all locations</p> </li> <li> <p>You will maintain strong partnerships with WE Supervisors and WE Partners to continue fostering a positive working relationship</p> </li> <li> <p>You will represent EMEA+ in all global WE matters and be a strategic and collaborative partner to the global WE Leads</p> </li> <li> <p>You are flexible, adaptable, and committed in your pursuit of developing new techniques that give us the ability to automate and scale, while growing in your particular area of expertise</p> </li> </ul> <h2>Required Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li> <p>You have a minimum 8+ years experience in a facilities / workplace experience management role and preferably have experience supporting more than one site and/or country</p> </li> <li> <p>You have knowledge of global real estate standards, policies and best practices</p> </li> <li> <p>You have experience leading EMEA+ teams</p> </li> <li> <p>You have experience with external global vendor management, ensuring that facilities across EMEA+ offices meet government regulations, and environmental, health and security standards</p> </li> <li> <p>You are an SME on WPX trends and best practises for continuous optimization</p> </li> <li> <p>You are experienced in new build and office improvement projects from inception through to competition</p> </li> <li> <p>You have experience managing business continuity within an organization, planning operations and procedures, formulating policy, and for developing new strategies with regard to workplace experience</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <h2>Bonus Qualifications: </h2> <ul> <li> <p>You are qualified in Facilities Management having received Diploma minimum</p> </li> <li> <p>You are qualified in Construction Project Management and are certified / CPD minimum</p> </li> <li> <p>You have in depth knowledge of TMC tools such as CWT / Egencia / Conferma </p> </li> <li> <p>You have knowledge of building fabrication and mechanical &amp; electrical systems</p> </li> <li> <p>You have basic knowledge of IT and server rooms</p> </li> </ul> <p>For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work.
