Part-time Dental Assistant

At Austin Center for Endodontics we are committed to providing exceptional care in a supportive and welcoming environment. We are looking for a skilled, compassionate Part-time Dental Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding endodontic treatment.

The schedule would be Tuesdays and Thursday 8-5 with Fridays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures, ensuring both efficiency and patient comfort.
   
• Welcome patients and guide them through their treatment experience, helping them feel comfortable and informed.
   
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms according to strict sterilization and cleanliness protocols; sterilize and organize instruments.
   
• Take X-rays and scans as needed to support treatment.
   
• Accurately document patient information and clinical notes in charts.
   
• Perform administrative tasks using a computer and dental software (EndoVision).

Requirements

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred but not required.
   
• Customer service experience (1+ years) is a plus — we value a friendly, patient-focused approach.
   
• Certification or an associate degree from an accredited dental assisting program is a bonus but not required.
   
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
   
• Comfortable with computer-based tasks and dental software.
   
• Professional, reliable, and positive attitude.
   
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
