Custodial & Maintenance Technician

Monadnock Family Services is seeking a reliable and versatile Custodial & Maintenance Technician to help keep our facilities clean, safe, and operational. This hands-on position combines custodial responsibilities with basic maintenance, minor repairs, and seasonal groundskeeping.

What You’ll Do

• Perform daily custodial tasks: cleaning restrooms, floors, and common areas; emptying trash; and restocking supplies. 
• Complete basic maintenance and repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting).
• Assist with groundskeeping, snow removal, and seasonal cleanup.
• Support furniture setups, interoffice moves, and agency vehicle upkeep.
• Ensure safe practices and respond to facility needs as they arise.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years custodial or maintenance experience preferred (will train the right candidate).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (bending, standing, climbing).
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or with a team.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and basic hand tools required.
