The on-site Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) at Columbus Engine Center has an opening for a Project Engineer supporting the maturation of the geared turbofan (GTF) fleet. The primary function of this position is to function as an onsite extension of the cognizant Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT(s)), with secondary responsibilities supporting Repair/Limits Design. The CIPT Project Engineer will support various CIPTs responsible for various GTF hardware at Columbus Engine Center (CEC) in Columbus, GA. This position is a key role within the CIPT as it provides a direct engineering link to the commercial aftermarket.
A successful candidate is customer focused as well as technically proficient and capable of communicating effectively. This role will include direct interfacing opportunities with engineering management, program management, aftermarket suppliers and DATs.
What You Will Do
- Work as the onsite representative of the CIPT supporting engine/hardware investigations and dispositions.
- Coordinate and lead resources to meet technical, development and production requirements
- Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, product improvement, and repair task activities.
- Liaise between engine shops, Customer Technical Services (CTS), Engine Services, etc., regarding investigation scope and implementation. Prepare and present status and technical content to CIPT and upper Pratt & Whitney management.
- Work closely with IPT members and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements.
- Coordinate evaluation of customer inquiries and operational hardware non-conformances.
- 10% travel required.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
- Minimum GPA of 3.0

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
