Job Summary:
GEICO is seeking an analytical and strategic Assistant Insurance Product Manager to join our growing team and support the development and implementation of our insurance products. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with an interest in building GEICO's product portfolio.
The ideal applicant would be skilled in managing large programs/initiatives, would be highly technical and drive the sales experience. We are looking for a committed, experienced, and energetic individual to join our growing product team. Under general direction, executes end-to-end ownership of assigned states, products, processes, or product features. This includes identifying and executing strategic plans to position assigned area for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize analytical problem solving and leadership skills to execute and deliver product initiatives
- Prior experience managing insurance products includes being an insurance product analyst.
- Full ownership of high-complexity business problems, plan items, product features, and/or product lines
- Build strong relationships with other business units and leads strategic direction for the long-term success of assigned areas.
- Solves complex problems despite limited or imperfect data.
- Analyzes, selects, and implements new and complex pricing and product design strategies.
- Manage relationships with external parties, including vendors, insurance organizations, and regulators.
- Advocates company position in legal and compliance matters.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 or more years of experience in product management, insurance, data analysis or a related field (insurance experience is strongly preferred).
- Must be able to think strategically and possess strong leadership skills
- Must have strong relationship building, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Must be action oriented with superior problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently

Annual Salary
$97,375.00 - $151,700.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
