Workplace Generalist (San Francisco, CA)

Our Workplace Generalist will be an integral part of the Workplace team and provide administrative and operational support to the San Francisco headquarters. This role will be responsible for providing a best-in-class workplace experience for Figmates and visitors for those working out of and visiting our SF hub. Along with operational duties, this role will support internal events, as well as work with our vendor partners including our food/snack program, custodial and security services. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the culture of our SF hub and work with many internal teams to establish an excellent employee and visitor experience.

This is a full-time role that can be held from our San Francisco hub. 

What you’ll do at Figma:

• Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure a clean & organized space
• Identify opportunities for improved office operations & efficiency
• Reviewing & managing internal offsites requests
• Support onsite catering and snack program
• Overseeing workplace ticket system
• Monitor and order inventory for office and breakroom supplies
• Address office repairs & maintenance 
• Assist with space planning & management (furniture moves, facility maintenance)
• Support exciting internal events
• Help manage local and company-wide health & safety protocols
• Expense reporting & budget planning

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• 2+ years of experience in startup, tech
• Experience working with C-Suite
• High standards of customer service and hospitality
• Proven experience working in a professional office environment
• Corporate IT SaaS application like G-suite, Dropbox, Zoom, Slack, etc
• Organizational and time management skills

While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

• Experience with tools like Asana, Fresh Service and Figma
• Event management experience
• CPR/AED training

Pay Transparency Disclosure

If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.  

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):$122,000—$178,000 USD
