About the position:
Salesforce is looking for a Java Developer to join our Enterprise Applications development team. You will be responsible for developing highly scalable internal applications that our employees use every day. You must have a background in Java programming and an understanding of developing in a modern Javascript framework. You will be responsible for developing and testing through all phases of the front-end to the back-end development lifecycle. You will use your experience to work with team members to develop new application features, as well as, enhance existing code and framework. You should have a history of building successful Web-based solutions using Web Services and the ability to grasp a variety of unfamiliar technology and integrate them quickly.

Experience/Skills Required:

• 3-5 years of experience programming with Java, Python, NodeJS or similar programming languages.
• 2+ years of experience programming with Force.com (APEX, Lightning Web Components), JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS or similar platforms
• Extensive understanding of Object Oriented (OO) design patterns
• Excellent understanding of Salesforce's SOQL and SOSL, Security model, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter and Force.com product offerings.
• Experience with database concepts and data modeling design
• Experience in automated testing (unit testing and functional testing)
• Strong Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST)
• Experience developing on the salesforce platform APIs, Slack APIs and Bolt SDK a plus
• You understand the value that DevOps brings to teams, are experienced using modern source control, working with Continuous Integration and are excited about releasing to production multiple times a day
• You are responsible for your code all the way to production, and you build in operational support to your solutions
• Experience in design and development of ETL Methodology for supporting data transformations and processing.
• A related technical degree required.

Experience/Skills Desired:

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience with spring boot framework
• Experience with Javascript frameworks such as Lightning Web Components or ReactJS
• Experience integrating with backend services (including databases), overseeing full-stack development requirements and solutions, including REST API design.
• Experience developing with MuleSoft is plus
• Certifications in Force.com and/or Java
• Understanding of various user based security models
• Extensive understanding of the Salesforce platform, specifically Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud will be plus
• Event driven architectures
• Messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS Event Bridge, etc

In office (Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX or Indianapolis, IN) expectations are 10 days/a quarter to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams.
