Advisacare Home Health is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Home Health Care Intake coordinator to join our team !

Our home health care division is growing !!! This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated well organized individual!

The preferred candidate will be experienced in home health care, insurance verification, and have excellent time management, written & communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for obtaining detailed and accurate benefit information using multiple websites to obtain insurance verification

• Daily tracking of patient census, hospitalizations and communication with physician offices and or referral sources

• Daily/continuous monitoring of orders to be processed for signature

• Ability to think critically and act independently
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
• Will require one weekend in rotation as Referral Intake On Call once training is completed and is included in the salary offer

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

• Knowledge of Home health care preferred but not required

• Knowledge of insurance verification preferred but not required

• Knowledge of Wellsky/Kinnser EMR is preferred but not required
• Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and attention to detail

• Optimal candidate will demonstrate patience, flexibility and be a cooperative team player

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with others both internally and externally
• Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel preferred but not required
• Some travel between locations in Troy and Livonia occasionally required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of one (1) year Home health care experience preferred but not required
