Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role can be based in our San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Chicago, or New York City offices. 

We are looking for a Go To Market (GTM) Operations Analyst to join our GTM Planning & Performance team to help scale and growth the LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS) business worldwide. You will get experience in helping to set a global Financial/Headcount Plan recommendation for Sales VP/C-level along with exposure to forecasting and other general business practices. You will build and maintain analytic models and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to senior executives and team members on a regular basis.  

The analyst should have a strong strategic mindset, excellent analytical and communications skills and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical business decisions. The candidate should also have high attention to detail, be open-minded to challenge the status quo, and work in a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence from themselves and business partners.  

   

Responsibilities    

  • Track business performance and provide insights and recommendations to advise leadership on forecasting and performance management of the global LSS business 

  • Drive strategic planning processes through data-driven recommendations (e.g., financial planning, headcount, segmentation) 

  • Participating in projects that deal with complex business problems and that combine strategy, analytics, and operations at a global level 

  • Advise senior members of the sales organization on growing and optimizing their businesses by making data-driven, actionable recommendations that help them achieve their long-term strategic priorities 

  • Present insights and recommendations to executives and global sales operations partners 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:    

  • Bachelor's degree  in business, analytical, or related field 

  • 1+ years' experience in a strategic or analytical role, including Investment Banking, Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Operations, or other analytical/operational role(s)  

  • 1+ years' experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL   

 

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in responding to ad hoc, time-sensitive requests.

  • High energy, enthusiastic individual. 

  • Independent, autonomous, and adaptable to change. 

  • Thinking through problems in a structured manner, attention to detail and highly organized.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, financial modeling, data mining and visualization skills.

  • Ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making.  

  • An active interest in training and development. 

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or Dynamics 365; Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization software.

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel).

The pay range for this role is $65,000 to $105,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.    

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans. For more information, visit
