About the role

At Curriculum Associates, we believe in the potential of every child and are changing the face of education technology with award-winning learning programs like i-Ready that serve a third of the nation’s K–8 students. For more than 50 years, our commitment to making classrooms better places, serving educators, and supporting accessible learning experiences for all students has driven the continuous improvement of our innovative programs. Our team of more than 2,500 employees is composed of lifelong learners who stand behind this mission, working tirelessly to serve the educational community with world-class programs and support every day.

The Director of Product Marketing will lead the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives that drive adoption and growth of i-Ready’s assessment solutions. This role is critical in shaping how our assessment products are positioned in the K–12 market and ensuring educators and administrators understand the value of our offerings. You will serve as the hub, connecting Product Management, Sales, Service and other Marketing teams to deliver compelling propositions, strategies messaging and go-to-market strategies that support our mission to improve student outcomes.

This role will define positioning and messaging, lead high-impact product launches, and ensure sales and service teams are equipped with compelling, differentiated stories that drive adoption and impact.

This is a highly cross-functional leadership role that partners closely with Product, Research, Sales, Growth Marketing, IST enablement, and Revenue Operations to bring assessment solutions to market with clarity, consistency, and measurable results.

As Curriculum Associates deepens its commitment to multilingual learners, this leader will champion the successful launch and ongoing market positioning of our new core K–6 Spanish-language literacy program. This role plays a critical part in bringing our Spanish-language offerings to market and ensuring they reach the educators and students they are designed to support. The ideal candidate brings proven experience launching new products, crafting compelling value propositions, and driving high-impact GTM strategies.

Beyond core Spanish literacy, the Director will oversee the full suite of English and Spanish supplemental math and literacy products. This portfolio includes emerging, high-visibility offerings that require comprehensive GTM leadership, as well as established legacy products that rely on strong demand-generation strategies to sustain and expand market adoption.

The impact you'll have:

  • Develop and Own Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for i-Ready’s assessment and instructional solutions that resonate with educators, administrators, and district leaders.
  • Lead Go-to-Market Strategy: Drive launch plans for new products and features, ensuring cross-functional alignment and successful execution.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on EdTech trends, K–12 customer needs, and competitive landscape; translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Sales Enablement: Build tools, training, and content that empower Sales teams to effectively communicate product value and close deals.
  • Content Strategy: Oversee creation of product-related content (web, collateral, presentations, case studies) to support demand generation and thought leadership.
  • Customer Advocacy: Partner with Customer Success to identify and showcase educator and district success stories that demonstrate product impact.
  • Performance Measurement: Define KPIs for product marketing initiatives and report on effectiveness to senior leadership.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Manage and mentor a team of product marketers, fostering growth and professional development.
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment on product strategy and messaging.
    • Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the marketing organization.
