Working hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Saucon Valley Country Club owns and operates a historic 13 room, colonial style Guest House on our Weyhill Campus. Providing exclusive use to our membership, the Weyhill Guest House is a jewel of the club, offering limited breakfast service and contracted lunch and dinner services. Perfect for a wedding party, or a golf group, The Weyhill Guest House is an exceptional amenity on our 850-acre campus
Purpose:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas such as linen room and laundry areas, according to company procedures and at a level that meets or exceeds company standards.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Practice TMS, Total Member Satisfaction.
- Stocks linen closets to ensure that enough cleaning needs, equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.
- Cleans the guest rooms assigned. Ensures the amenities are stocked for each cleaned room. Completes entire housekeeping checklist.
- Reports clean rooms to supervisor for inspection.
- Dust, Vacuum, mop commons areas and bathrooms.
- Reports any damages or hazards that are present in guest rooms, i.e., burned out light bulbs, broken furniture, broken lights, etc.
- Secures guest room doors upon exiting the room.
- Always keeps the corridors and service area neat.
- Turns in all lost and found items and all guest room keys.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures.
- Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
- Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
- Utilizes protective equipment.
- Reports substandard (unsafe) conditions to supervisor.
- Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage or loss to supervisor.
- Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
Requirements
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:
- High School Diploma or GED desired
- Country Club experience a plus
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy; ability to prioritize and organize
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Lodging experience desired
- Be able to prepare breakfast for overnight Guest/Members.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to stay on your feet for 8 hours
- Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb stairs, frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking.
- Ability to work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment
