About the role

We are looking for a proactive Project Coordinator to support a federal client’s budget office by leading end-to-end operational support for budget formulation activities and Office 365 collaboration tools. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison to the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), manage day-to-day contract operations, and coordinate communications across stakeholders.

This position requires a strong background in federal budget systems, process documentation, system migrations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and the ability to translate business workflows into technical requirements. You will also ensure best practices in training, compliance, risk mitigation, and change management to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a central point of contact across multiple stakeholders and project teams.
  • Identify and propose value-added solutions to address client challenges.
  • Provide daily operational support for the budget formulation system and Office 365-based content collaboration tools.
  • Serve as the main liaison to the CO/COR, coordinating communications, scheduling meetings, and ensuring timely delivery of agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Lead process improvement efforts by researching, developing, and maintaining clear documentation and automations for technical workflows and business operations.
  • Provide strategic program support, including planning, monitoring, deployment, sustainment, cybersecurity, privacy, training, and communications for PBFA and related collaboration systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience implementing SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform-based solutions
  • Hands-on experience with federal budget systems and associated processes
  • Experience leading or advising on complex client-facing projects
  • Strong software proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management abilities with minimal supervision
  • A collaborative mindset and strong work ethic
  • U.S. Citizenship required, with the ability to pass a background investigation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience automating complex federal budgeting processes
  • Background in coordinating and managing federal government projects
  • Familiarity with Budget Formulation and Execution Manager (BFEM) and Power Platform solutions
