Description

Berman Skin Institute Aestheticians are responsible for performing skin analysis and cosmetic care consultations, performing advanced treatments, developing and teaching skin care regimens and business development for our service and product line.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

 

  • Confer with clients about their aesthetic objectives
  • Maintain ongoing communication and consistent follow-up with current and prospective patients
  • Coordinate patient care with their SBC medical provider(s)
  • Proper and compliant electronic documentation of clinical and service notes
  • Check-in/out and schedule patients as needed
  • Analyze skin type and create an appropriate treatment plan and at-home skincare routine
  • Select a procedure that best conforms to the needs of the patient, their desired outcome, timeline and financial requirements
  • Provide education to patients regarding procedure to be performed or recommended by our providers as well as the products that will be used during procedures
  • Prepare patients skin for facial treatments and administer facial treatments for conditions and requests including: including mild to moderate acne, advanced acne, rosacea, eczema, age-defying, brightening, tightening, toning and custom facials, enzyme and chemical peels and micro-dermabrasion treatments.
  • Knowledge of our private label and additional product lines
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized procedure room, equipment, back bar and well-stocked inventory
  • Cross-train in various other aspects for the practice
  • Maintain and self-audit standard of care and licensing boards regulations are regularly met and consistently maintained
  • Regular training and discussion with fellow team members on products and services
  • Various marketing, promotional, cosmetic event and PR duties

 

Skills & Abilities:

 

  • Exceptional skills within all aspects of medical aesthetician duties and responsibilities
  • Superior communication and patient care skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, dependable and focused
  • Maintaining high-level of patient care, professionalism and discretion
  • Strong computer skills working with EMR

Qualifications

 

  • Board licensed aesthetician, original license must be posted in office
  • 2 years of experience in medical office background preferred
  • Experience in a patient or cosmetic coordinator role is preferred
  • Sales Experience required
  • Full Time and Saturdays may be required

Wage Range - $22.00/hr to $27.00/hr DOE
