Job Summary:
ODI partners with academic institutions and community-based and national organizations to provide opportunities to students and young professionals who are underrepresented in healthcare, science, and medicine. This includes students who self-identify as Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American, and/or Pacific Islander as well as people with disabilities and individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and gender non-binary or non-conforming. Our unique programs expose students to career pathways while offering the tools, skills, and knowledge necessary to succeed in the healthcare industry.
Administrative Internship participants are expected to participate in all ODI-sponsored activities,
including educational sessions and panels, engagement events, and the Awards & Recognition
Ceremony at the end of the summer.
Department: Supply Chain
The selected intern will assist in providing support to the Supply Chain management team to
advancement respective projects. Individual will ensure, where relevant, that all work is properly
documented so it is easily transition at the end of the internship. Performs all other duties as
assigned.
Eligibility
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an interest in pursuing a
career in healthcare.
Must be a U.S. citizen, or have a permanent resident card or VISA.
Skills and Qualifications
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and on teams as well as prioritize staff
Strong critical thinking and follow up skills and seeing issues through resolution
