Job DescriptionOverview:
Anomali is looking for an energetic Project Manager to help manage all communications and coordination in the Engineering Department. This person will be responsible for executing Corporate Engineering communications, project management, analysis and coordination that align to corporate engineering goals. The candidate will be results-oriented and focused on getting things done. The role will require proven ability to work with cross functional teams, internal and external, as well as, effective project management execution, analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities: • Monitor Engineering projects progress in the way of collecting project data, checking project status, and reporting the progress to management regularly.• Use, manage, and maintain JIRA software as an agile project management tool to support Engineering team projects.• Involved in engineering budget planning and monitoring. Prepare expense report and reconcile expenses and billing with finance department.• Manage engineering communications related to new hires, project and product updates. Responsibility includes tracking project life cycle from planning, execution to public launch. Identify project risks and communicate project status to all stakeholders.• Maintaining engineering knowledge base on Confluence to store complex structured and unstructured information such as technical system details, architecture design, operational limitations, functional know-how and work arounds. Engage in onboarding new hires, refining process, and making sure engineers are well trained with their mentors.• Closely working with technical support team on customer raised issues tracking and delivery. Making sure customers' needs are met and improve customer satisfaction.• Assisting on cross department program reporting such as compiling Project progress status on GitHub and JIRA, monitoring risk assessment and health checks on program goals.• Manage Engineering team’s metrics to monitor success. • Strong relationship and virtual team coordination.• Ability to execute engineering projects and communicate release status cross functional teams and departments.
Qualifications Required Skills / Experience:o A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Management, Business Administration, or Project Management. A Computer Science or Software Engineering Major will also be considered. o Experienced with multi-tasking, prioritization, and managing timelines, bringing prior experience with Project Management involving engineering/computer science/ application development projects with varied stakeholders, and remote teams.o Excellent oral and written communication skills.o Agile project management experience or certifications in PMP or Professional Scrum Mastero Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence Software.o Experience with invoice reconciliation, budgeting, burn rate analysis and forecastingo Prior experience in creating and updating project planso Thrives in rapid growth, fast paced environment and adapts well to change.o Strong research skills.o
