Project Overview:

Join us as we make history at the Hanford Vit Plant, known as the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant. We are designing and building a one-of-a-kind facility that will turn radioactive and chemical waste left over from World War II and Cold War plutonium production into a form safe for disposal. Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes. Your recommendations will resolve technical issues and ensure the unique and complex requirements of a project’s mechanical aspects are met. Participate in schedule review; provide input for earnings for groups deliverables; Handle EDR reviews with timely responses; coordinate meetings with Client, PE, EGS/DEGS, support engineers; bring technical issues to management with optional recommended solutions/closure strategies; Hold pre-job briefs for main deliverables such as P&IDs, Calculations, procurement deliverables. Provide input into deliverable tracker for resource loading and performance earning, perform pre-job kickoffs and mid-job briefs and product reviews to ensure quality and schedule commitments are met for assigned scope. Ensure personnel are effectively loaded with sufficient backlog of executable work with appropriate direction, to ensure personnel resources are operating at efficiency.  Provide cost and schedule input in support of trend development. Part-Time Telework, Majority Office: This position is a full-time role that offers part-time telework flexibility in the Richland, Washington project office. Upon initial hire and onboarding, the position will require full time presence in the Richland, Washington project office, then may offer part-time telework flexibility. This position works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off.
