How you’ll make an impact:
- Create and maintain Workday reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and usability.
- Gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain Workday reports and dashboards, including but not limited to standard, custom, composite, and matrix reports, while adhering to business requirements and best practices. Coordinate and conduct thorough testing of reports to verify accuracy and functionality, work with requestors, and prepare test scenarios to validate new and changed reports, troubleshooting and resolving any issues before deploying reports to production.
- Execute tactical HR projects and/or initiatives for Workday reporting and data governance. Identify and interpret trends and patterns to help influence continuous improvements to the operations, process or programs. Translate requirements into actionable reporting tools and dashboards.
- Provide technical support and guidance for Visier, including data integration, configuration, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Enforce data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across HR systems.
- Identify and implement data improvement initiatives and best practices, leveraging data analysis and automation tools.
- Communicate and collaborate with HR and business stakeholders, understanding their data and reporting needs and providing solutions and recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in HR Workday and Visier reporting and data governance, and evaluate and propose improvements to increase adoption, useability and scalability of our system and processes.
What you’ll need (required):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, IT, or and 8 years of experience in HR analytics and reporting experience, preferably in a large and complex organization.
What else we look for (preferred):
- Expertise in Workday reporting, including advanced, matrix, composite, and BIRT reports.
- Experience with Visier or other HR analytics platforms, including data integration, configuration, and validation.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices, including data quality, security, and compliance.
- Proficiency in data analysis and automation tools, such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of data models, system interfaces, data privacy and data security principles, reporting and people analytics capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex data and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data issues and discrepancies.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $133,000 to $187,000 (highly experienced).
