Business Development Manager - CO2 Refrigeration (Remote)

Job Description

Danfoss, a global leader in HVAC/R, Industrial Automation, and Motion Controls, has an immediate opening for a Business Development Manager in its Food Retail business segment This individual will be responsible for growing sales and market share in its Natural Refrigerants product offering across the Food Retail business segments. They will have end-to-end responsibility for promoting Danfoss Natural Refrigerants product offerings, especially CO2 in the US market. Key responsibilities will include working across all departments including senior leadership at our existing and new customers to promote the Danfoss Natural refrigerants product offerings and promoting Danfoss as a market leader in Natural Refrigerants product offerings especially CO2 by representing Danfoss at conferences and being seen as the expert for Danfoss in North America. 

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

·    Promote Danfoss as the market leader in Natural refrigerants especially CO2
·    Support Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers on Natural Refrigerants.
·    Be the face of Danfoss in promoting its Natural Refrigerants product offering, especially CO2  
·    Develop relationships at the C suite level with existing and new key accounts.
·    ESG promotes Danfoss as a leader in customer sustainability management to grow our offering.  
·    Support existing Account Managers in securing new business at their designated accounts.
·    Participate and engage in monthly business dialogue meetings.
·    Communicate internally with all stakeholders on business and market requirements.
·    Responsible for developing and maintaining Danfoss's value proposition
·    Develop and grow sales within the scope of Danfoss's business
·    Communicate market information and intelligence
·    Communicates professionally with all internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

·    Bachelor’s degree in business/Sales or equivalent experience
·    Experience in Natural Refrigerants especially CO2 applications
·    More than five years of Business Development experience
·    Strong business acumen
·    C-Level management experience
·    Capacity to work with and thru others in a matrix organization.
·    Salesforce or equivalent experience
·    Strong communication and negotiation skills.
·    Good command of the English language
·    Travel 60%
·    Candidate to reside in a major US city containing an international airport.
·    Target Areas; West Coast, South & South East Coast
