The targeted hiring range for this part-time position is $15.00 to $19.50 plus commission depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Promote and support our high-quality Red Wing brand image through professional selling, building loyalty, and long-lasting relationships with our customers. This is achieved by promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company’s Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), selling our premium products, and providing conscientious customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guide each customer through RWSC’s Ultimate Fit Experience
• Provide appropriate accessory recommendations and educate customers on the benefits of each
• Generate Industrial Sales Leads
• Achieve and exceed daily productivity and sales goals
• Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and housekeeping standards
• Maintain proficiency with product knowledge and technical and operating standards through continuous learning
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and legal regulations
• Restoring footwear exchanges from the truck visits and store for resale
• Assist the Mobile Sales Representative (MSR) on truck runs, fittings, and onsite service
• Prepare, load, and unload stock to be placed on mobile units and in a warehouse for the day’s business
• Able to perform the job duties with minimal or no oversight.
• Being available during hours of operation and limited availability before or after regular store hours with notice. 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of RWSC’s electronic communication software
• Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards

• Willingness to perform additional duties as required
• Conduct self-accordance with RWSC policies
• Build collaborative relationships between you and key people with whom you’ll work or interact with

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years relevant experience
• Results-oriented
• Effective Written/Verbal Communication
• Computer Utilization

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES:

• Thorough knowledge of Red Wing Shoe Company's mission, values, and organizational structure
• Profit and loss knowledge
• Naturally curious, has a passion for new ideas, and looks to drive growth

• Retail Footwear Fitting and Sales
• Being able to speak Spanish is a Plus! 
• Basic Microsoft Office functions (Outlook and Excel) 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Lifting 50 pounds, bending/squatting to lace shoes, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing a ladder, standing for long periods in a retail and warehouse environment. 
• Housekeeping duties include but are not limited to vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, discarding all trash, maintaining recycling, and installing and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.
