Job Description
The VP will manage and lead a direct sales division at Clearent which includes Regional Sales Directors, District Managers and Account Executives. The Vice President of Sales will be tasked with achieving and surpassing team sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Importantly, as Clearent is in a very high growth mode, the VP will need to heavily and consistently recruit to continue to expand and build their territory.

Demonstrate integrity and ethics in representing the Clearent brand
Drive team to exceed the sales plan on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis by utilizing Clearent’s systemic approach to activity management and accountability
Optimize team by maximizing performance of current team members while simultaneously recruiting high-performing new team members
Provide succinct, insightful reporting to management; accurately forecast future sales; forward proactive recommendations to address key issues or concerns
Solicit and manage key partner relationships (associations, VARs, other)
Ensure professionalism of team members in communications, attendance of training sessions and use of social media tools
Market additional Clearent products and services as they are introduced under company guidelines
Learn and understand all hardware, software, and reporting offered by Clearent and effectively communicate this information to prospects, clients, and Account Executives
Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of Clearent’s programs (Compass, gateway, etc.) and provide consistent reinforcement of the Clearent selling system to direct reports
This position directly supervises Regional Sales Directors and District Managers and is responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. The associate will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law. Such responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; setting goals; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

3+ years of experience effectively managing a sales team in the payment acquisition industry
Experience building a successful team
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
Strong work ethic with a drive to excel
PC proficient with Microsoft Office Suite experience
