Physical Therapist (PT) Rehab Director Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the physical therapy department, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery for all residents.
• Oversee and mentor a team of physical therapists and assistants, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for residents, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents’ physical needs, including mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aimed at improving residents’ mobility, strength, and quality of life.
• Ensure the highest standard of care by monitoring and evaluating therapy progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Promote a positive and supportive work culture, fostering collaboration and professional development within the therapy team.
• Manage departmental operations, including scheduling, staffing, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide education and training to staff on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of residents’ progress and therapy outcomes, in compliance with healthcare regulations.
