Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Position Summary:
The Engineering Intern will be interfacing with engineers in the Advanced Materials group. In this role, you will develop physical and mechanical property measurement methods for PZT transducers, a core component to our medical device.

Responsibilities and Duties:
•    Develop and document test methods. 
•    Characterize process parameters to correlate with test results.
•    Write test protocols, execute studies and document results in test reports.
•    This includes implementing fixtures, setting up a test method, ordering parts and documenting the results with GDP (Good Documenting Practices).
•    Present findings to Operations/Engineering group.

Requirements:
•    Undergraduate full-time student with at least 2 years completed, pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering or similar.
•    Comfortable working in a lab environment.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Ability to operate independently or in a team.
•    High attention to detail and organizational skills.
•    Familiar with FDA regulations, CAD and statistics a plus.

Salary range: $20/Hr - $25/Hr
 

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
