Purpose

As a member of the Talent Development team at Texas Development, the Recruiting Associate will work closely with the Executive Director of Talent Development and the Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs). The primary responsibility of the Associate is to help facilitate the recruitment and hiring of highly qualified individuals for the university. Additionally, the Associate will support the team in delivering a positive, consistent, and high-quality hiring experience for all candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting activities for the Executive Director and various Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs) as assigned. Provide support to ensure the efficient and effective use of staff members' time.
  • Play a key role in ensuring all candidates have a positive, consistent, and high-quality hiring experience. Serve as the primary in-person point of contact for candidates and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and other Texas Development staff to schedule meetings, calls, and interviews, which may include virtual or in-person meetings on campus.
  • Create and prepare meeting materials for TAPs, hiring managers, and hiring committees as needed.
  • Coordinate and prepare travel arrangements, documentation, and reimbursements.
  • Conduct resume reviews, candidate screenings, and reference calls as assigned.
  • Assist with the reporting and tracking of candidate and staff data.
  • Facilitate and improve internal team functions and processes.
  • Assist with Workday maintenance and related processes.
  • Serve as a recruiting information resource for staff and candidates.
