At Valmet, our Pulp, Energy & Circularity Services concept development team is dedicated to enabling customer success through competitive lifecycle solutions. These include spares & consumables, field services, agreements, workshop services, and improvement projects. Our Energy & Circularity process area focuses on service concepts for Power Boilers, Gasifiers, Air Emission Control, and Pyrolysis technologies—key technologies for a cleaner, more sustainable future.

We are now looking for a Product engineer to develop spare part offering for Valmet Energy & Circularity customers. This is a temporary position until end of December 2026. Your preferred location can be one of Valmet offices in Tampere, Vantaa or Raisio.

Who is the professional we are looking for? 

As a Product Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our spare part business. Your responsibilities include:

• Analyzing spare part sales and gathering feedback from customers and Valmet area organizations

• Define spare parts for different service concepts in co-operation with services, technology and engineering colleagues

• Providing input to Global supply organization for sourcing strategy

• Participating in spare part pricing governance

• Ensuring spare part information is aligned in Valmet systems

To succeed in this role

You are a positive-minded professional with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You bring a proactive, can-do attitude and work effectively with stakeholders across our business areas and functions. You are confident in making decisions and taking ownership of your responsibilities.

To succeed, you’ll also bring:

• B.Sc or M.Sc in mechanical or process engineering (or similar)

• An analytical and systematic approach to work

• Experience in spare part business or power boilers / flue gas cleaning systems is considered an advantage

• Excellent communication skills in English
