Overview

Actively seeking a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our existing multi-specialty medical group specifically in our Bariatric and General Surgery department in West Jordan.


Job Summary

The APP responsibilities include but not limited to; evaluation and management of post operative patients both in clinic and in the hospital, hospital rounding, first assist during surgery, weight loss clinic appointments, call requirements on average of 7 days a month, and the ability to provide excellent care in a busy environment. EMR Chart management performed within eClinicalWorks and EPIC.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Appropriate and applicable licensure, education and certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of Utah.

  • Proper insurance credentialing prior to patient treatment

  • Board Certification/Eligible

  • Preferred experience: 1-2 years, but not required

  • Preferred specialties: General Surgery

  • Commitment to one year on the job to account for necessary training
