Associate,Loan Operations

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of DTC and Loanet (required)
• Experience with FIS/Phase3 (preferred)
• 2–3 years of stock loan experience in an operations or trade support role
• FINRA Series 7 or 99 license (required)
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and reconciliation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred) This role offers the opportunity to be at the intersection of trading and operations, directly supporting revenue-generating desks while developing a deep understanding of stock loan markets. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Core Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Execute essential trade support functions, including trade booking and settlement
• Process daily mark-to-market adjustments with non-DTC participating clients
• Manage callback and return processes (allocation, booking, and outgoing returns)
• Review and authorize DTC RAD approvals
• Handle month-end billing, reconciliations, and counterparty coordination
• Perform Contract Compare to ensure trade accuracy and reduce risk
• Conduct Start-of-Day and End-of-Day account balancing to support seamless trading activity
• Provide ad hoc support to multiple trading desks across the firm
