This role concerns the provision of AV support services to internal clients. Key areas supported include; security compliance, laptop and AV equipment maintenance, room set-up and controls, audio and video conferencing and in-meeting support services under strict control by agreed deadlines.The position requires a high level of competency relating to core IT capabilities including troubleshooting, communicating solutions, quality control, task management, inter-team dependencies and client management.

As an Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To provide a very client focussed and dedicated support service to include:
In room meeting & event support and setup
Product expertise
Equipment control and maintenance
Issue diagnoses, escalation and ticket management
Meeting service targets and managing customer expectation
Assist users connect to MS Teams, WebEx, video conferencing calls & MS townhall.
Plan AV requirements in advance of upcoming meetings or events
Plan maintenance with 3rd party support
Developing and delivering specific AV training to team members
Event activities
Set-up of stage and mixing desk
Testing microphones
Testing visuals from laptops, tablets
Managing speakers and event organisers, ensuring your clear in what you can provide versus their expectations. Striving to provide the best service.
Planning for the unexpected during event
Dismantle of equipment post event and ensuring the rooms are returned to their normal use
Documentation
Maintaining procedural and technical documentation
Developing and communicating fixes to complex problems
Developing user guides and related material
Meeting preparation, minute recording and distribution (as required)
Lead/Contribute to Projects
Deliver required audio visual products or services.

Experiences and skills
3rd level related qualification
Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in the focused use of AV hardware and software for a business in a medium to large company.
Planning, organisational and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities
Ability to prioritize client needs and deliver high-quality service
Technical skills required: A high level of competence in the use and support of a range of AV software & hardware products
Experience with Crestron, AMX hardware and AVoIP (Audio Visual over IP)
Good understanding of IT/AV Networking
Knowledge of PowerPoint, Google Slides, MS Teams, MS Townhall, WebEx
Live event sound (microphones, laptops, tablets) and visual mixing
Issue diagnoses, escalation and ticket management
Video conferencing and audio-conferencing knowledge
Ability to apply past AV experience to current situation to resolve issues and/or provide recommendation
PC, MAC and iOS knowledge and ability to troubleshoot basic issues
Experience supporting live broadcasts & webcasts
CTS qualification (desirable)
Dante qualification (desirable)
