That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.</p> <h3><strong>About the team</strong></h3> <p>Stripe’s Professional Services team works with our most strategic users; You will work on the highest visibility projects to provide technical expertise to our customers to help accelerate their knowledge, solution design and integrations with Stripe.  This role is responsible for leading strategic conversations and developing plans that will transform the payments and financial infrastructure for leading enterprises. </p> <h2> </h2> <h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2> <p>As a Strategy Consultant, you will sell large Professional Services engagements to strategic clients and lead them through digital transformations using Stripe’s financial services infrastructure.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Work with our Go-To-Market teams to identify and develop Professional Services opportunities</li> <li>Advise customer’s senior leadership in building business cases for digital transformation</li> <li>Lead pre-sales workshops with customers (strategy/vision/discovery/assessment workshops)</li> <li>Shape Professional Services deals, build and negotiate contracts/Statements of Work</li> <li>Autonomously lead complex, multi-party implementation projects in a highly consultative and proactive manner</li> <li>Partner with other Sales and Technical Services teams to improve the overall Stripe user journey </li> <li>Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy for large users</li> <li>Collaborate with your teammates on strategic projects that improve and scale our implementation process and team operations</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who you are</strong></h2> <p>We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</p> <h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>7+ years of IT consulting/management experience working with strategic customers on technology solutions, with a track record of top performance</li> <li>5+ years in consulting with expertise in financial services or fintech domains</li> <li>Experience in pre-sales/sales of large services engagements and with contract/SOW development</li> <li>Enjoys building – being  the creative engine behind a best-in-class professional services offerings that ultimately will be scaled to our global sales teams</li> <li>Thrives on the urgency and importance of working with our largest customers, and are able to achieve set objectives while balancing competing priorities</li> <li>Ability to understand complex business requirements and craft tailored solutions</li> <li>Strong critical thinking skills, including ability to identify suboptimal internal processes</li> <li>First-class verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to operate without support in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/software company</li> <li>Prior experience in the payments industry</li> <li>A familiarity with APIs </li> </ul> <h2><br/><br/></h2>
