Job Summary

We are looking for a Critical Facilities Engineer for one of our Frankfurt datacentres. You will be in charge of maintaining the Building infrastructures and join a past pace industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure, especially in the area of power and cooling supply. This includes, among other things, medium and low voltage, UPS systems and load transfer switches

• Independent organisation, coordination and implementation of projects in the area of the technical infrastructure of a data centre, including commissioning and approval

• Monitoring and operation of the technical systems used for data centre operations, including UPS and NEA systems, air-conditioning systems, building management system

• Optimisation and replacement of technical systems

• Fault management

• Supporting the day-to-day operations of data centre operations

• Procurement of materials, including obtaining quotations, ordering goods, coordinating suppliers and checking incoming goods

• Subcontractor management

• Ensuring constant quality and regular safety checks in the entire area of responsibility

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an electrician, HVAC technician, mechanical engineer or a comparable qualification VALID/RECOGNIZED IN GERMANY

• Experience with infrastructure maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting and repairs on technical systems and equipment of the building infrastructure (electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning)

• Team spirit, sense of responsibility and quality awareness

• Good communication in English and/or German

• Willingness for shift work (24*7 - full shift operation)

• Customer-oriented attitude
